Developing a 9-1-1 Quality Assurance Program

Course Description

This 3-day course is an interactive workshop, not a sit-and-listen seminar. It provides the knowledge, skills and experience for the participant to develop a 9-1-1 Quality Assurance Program based on national accreditation standards for 9-1-1 centers. Performance Objectives

A national training expert explains and demonstrates the outline of a successful 9-1-1 quality assurance model program. The participants will be provided with the experience of working from the outline to begin the development of an actual QA program for their agency based on their agency’s specific needs.

Agency Training

During the course, the participant will become certified as a Quality Assurance Officer, which will qualify them to return and certify other agency employees through NECI form completion of the agency QA program.

Program Implementation

The participant will be provided with a mechanism to implement the agency quality assurance (QA) program once completed. Employee Monitoring The QA program, once implemented, will contain all the quality controls (QC) to monitor and measure performance according to agency standards.

Program Improvement

The QA program will have a quality improvement (QI) component, which guides the agency through an improvement phases.

Student Performance Objectives

By the end of this program, the student will be able to work from the outline to begin the development of an actual QA program for their agency based on their agency’s specific needs.
