Traditional instructor-led Course - The resources included for instructor-led courses include an Instructor manual, student manual, pre‐scripted role play scenarios, and a course certificate. ‐ $25.00

Self-paced Course - The resources included for a self-paced course includes a self-paced student manual, instructor manual on CD, pre‐scripted role play scenarios, and a course certificate. ‐ $50.00

Crimes in Progress - This interactive workshop is for the experienced 9‐1‐1 Officer who desires to update their basic skills with law enforcement specific training for crimes in progress. During this workshop, the student will actively participate in several pre‐scripted role‐play scenarios including home intrusion, rape and domestic violence, suicide and HAZMAT calls.

Domestic Violence Calls - The purpose of this interactive workshop is to enable the 9‐1‐1 Officer with the knowledge of key terms, definitions and situational factors associated with domestic violence. In addition, to train the 9‐1‐1 Officer how to prioritize officer safety, caller safety and public safety. The 9‐1‐1 Officer can accomplish this by providing the public safety responders with what they know about the scene before they arrive.

Suicide Calls - The purpose of this interactive workshop is to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to properly handle suicidal callers. The course is designed to inform the call receiver about the suicidal mind and specific courses of action when confronted with a suicide call. It is suggested that someone trained in handling suicide calls be allowed to co‐teach the class. Suggestions include law enforcement experts in suicidal people, suicide hot lines with experts on staff.

Bomb Threats - The purpose of this interactive workshop is to provide the 9‐1‐1 Officer with the knowledge and skills for understand techniques on extracting information about and by the caller.

HAZMAT Calls - The purpose of this interactive workshop is to provide the 9‐1‐1 Officer with the knowledge and skills necessary to properly handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT) incident calls.

9‐1‐1 Legal Issues - The purpose of this interactive workshop is to ensure the 9‐1‐1 Officer understands different types of law, legal concepts, terms and specific issues related to 9‐1‐1.

Stress Management in 9‐1‐1 - The course provides the 9‐1‐1 Officer with the knowledge and skills to understand what causes stress and how to properly manage it in an emergency communications environment.

TDD Calls - The purpose of this interactive workshop is to ensure that the 9‐1‐1 Officer is completely aware of the American Disabilities Act as it relates to public safety communications. In addition, the goal is to make the student familiar with the types of TDD units, how they are used, and appropriate grammar and terminology when communicating with through these devices to a person who is either hearing or speech impaired.
