Fire Communications Officer Recertification
Individuals who have become certified through NECI or any other Fire Communications Officer (FCO) certification program recognized by the agency where the FCO works.
To become FCO re-certified through NECI, all individuals must meet the following requirements:
• Current FCO certification through any FCO course recognized by the agency where the FCO works.
• Meet all state or local requirements.
• 12 months minimum of full-time or part-time experience as a FCO.
• 12 hours minimum of FCO-related in-service training within the past twelve months.
• Successfully pass the FCO "closed-book" final written examination provided by NECI.
Upon receipt of a complete application with a purchase order or credit card number, NECI will forward the NECI FCO National Certification Course and recertification instructions on a CD.
Recertification Cost: $45.00 – Includes course manual, CD, FCO certificate To request recertification:

• Select ORDER TRAINING MATERIALS
• Select RECERTIFICATION
• Select FCO Recertification
