CTO Recertification
Individuals who have become certified through NECI or any other CTO certification program recognized by their agency can become recertified through NECI.
To become CTO re-certified through NECI, all individuals must meet the following requirements:
• Current CTO certification through any CTO course recognized by their agency where the CTO works.
• Meet all state or local requirements.
• 12 months minimum of full-time or part-time experience as a CTO.
• 12 hours minimum of CTO-related training of others within the past twelve months.
• Successfully pass the CTO "closed-book" final written examination provided by NECI.
Upon receipt of a complete application with a purchase order or credit card number, NECI will forward the NECI CTO National Certification Course and recertification instructions on a CD.
Recertification Cost: $45.00 – Includes course manual, CD, CTO certificate To request recertification:
1. Go to the NECI MAIN MENU
• Select ORDER TRAINING MATERIALS
• Select RECERTIFICATION
• Select CTO Recertification
