9-1-1 Supervisor Resources Course Description The 9-1-1 Supervisor Resources Course is a 3-day course for the 9-1-1 managers and supervisors who are required to ensure employees are utilizing agency-approved call handling procedures, Course Objectives Day 2: Developing job descriptions and performance
evaluations for 9-1-1 Course Benefits During the course, the student will:
Upon completion
of the course, the student will return with a draft copy of a
quality assurance program, written job descriptions, performance-based
evaluation and call-handling procedures on a computer disk. To become certificate eligible, students are required to actively participate in individual and group assignments. This is an interactive workshop, not a sit-and-listen seminar. There will be individual and group projects. All students will be required to actively participate to receive a certificate of completion. Students who refuse to "fully" participate will not receive a certificate. Computers: Students are expected to bring a desktop computer or laptop computer. The computer should have a word processor and slide presentation program. The student should have basic skills in word processing and slide show development. Although students without a computer will be at a disadvantage, they will be allowed to fully participate in all course projects. Tuition $495.00 Credit cards, checks and government purchase orders gladly accepted.
